2024 End of Year Reflections: A Message of Hope
2024 End of Year Reflections: A Message of Hope
Aloha Family, Friends, and Supporters of Revelation of Hope Ministries,
As we reflect on 2024, we can’t ignore the heavy challenges we’ve faced—loss, illness, injury, financial strains, and moments of deep personal darkness. This year, many have experienced great hardship. If you’re reflecting on a year filled with more difficulty than joy, know this: success isn’t always about what we’ve accomplished, but what we’ve endured. Sometimes, simply surviving is an achievement. The lessons learned in struggle are the most valuable, shaping us for greater wisdom and impact. And through it all, God has been faithful.
On our journey over this past year, my back surgery, my mom’s stage 3 colon cancer, and several personal losses have been overwhelming. But God has carried us through. My surgery was a success, and while I still face daily pain, it’s nothing compared to what I experienced earlier this year. By God’s grace, I can get up and keep moving forward. My mom finished her treatments, and her doctors have found no signs of the tumor! While further tests remain, we are filled with hope and will share more on her progress soon.
This year has deepened my understanding of empathy. Though God doesn’t cause trials, He uses them to open our hearts to others’ suffering. Our pain has made us aware of a reality that exists for people every single day. This knowledge has increased our compassion and enabled us to connect with people in new, meaningful ways and create content and messages that have literally saved people from death. Just recently, a man shared how one of our YouTube videos, found in a moment of despair, saved him from suicide. He wrote, “I thought of dying today. Less than an hour ago. Then I stumbled upon this video… I'm sure it was not an accident or a coincidence that I found this video at the time I did. God will help me. And God will take away all my pain. Let me hold on to that hope.” We praise God for His intervention. Here’s the video that gave him hope. Perhaps it’s also what you, or someone you know, needs today. Please watch and share.
Barbara shared how her entire office gathers each Monday morning to watch another episode of our Reflections of Hope series before starting the workday. She wrote, “Thank you for your inspirational words. The videos you create help us start the workweek focused on God’s love and the amazing world He created.”
I was moved by a recent testimony from a couple who found our Bible prophecy seminars while listening to the radio. Initially skeptical about hearing from a “Seventh-day Adventist,” they were deeply touched by the truths they discovered—especially about God’s love and the topic of hellfire. They wrote, “Your seminars opened our eyes to God’s love and the truth of Scripture. We are so grateful for your ministry. We never expected to be touched so deeply.”
Then there’s Ed who said this: “Thank you so much for your video on the Cenotes. I was feeling very depressed and thinking about how I can never seem to do anything right. I picked up my phone and your video instantly came up. Thank you so much for your ministry, it is truly a blessing to me and I’m sure to many others.”
Then this testimony from Cori, a guest on one of our Aloha Exposure excursions: “We love to show our (3-year-old) son your videos! Even though he’s still young, may he learn that life is an unpredictable tide, but with Jesus in the vessel, we can smile at the storm. To think he would not exist if I hadn’t gotten through my lowest of depression. God bless you brother! You still bless millions today through these messages. I believe God is still molding you through all these hard experiences to powerfully help people more and more. Your ministry is blossoming, for the saving of so many others. God bless you and your family RICHLY! Aloha.”
These testimonies are a beautiful reminder of how God works through our digital content, reaching people beyond what we can see. Every week, we receive testimonies from around the world, reminding us of the far-reaching power of God’s hope. We are deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support, which make it possible to continue sharing God’s end-time message of hope.
As we step into 2025, here’s my encouragement: even in the midst of heartbreak and challenges, keep moving forward. Don’t worry about what you can’t do—just use what you’ve got. Share what you know. Do what you can. And trust God with the rest. We may never fully understand the impact of our efforts until eternity, but God is at work through every seed we sow, every smile we give, and every sacrifice we make.
Let’s trust that God is using us to fulfill His mission, even when we don’t see immediate results. Methods may change, or approaches may differ, as we seek to reach a broader audience in creative ways. But our focus remains the same: to share the hope, health, and harmony of heaven with as many as possible. We invite you to continue partnering with us in this mission as we look to the year ahead. For those interested, here are 4 practical and specific ways you can help us spread the message faster and further.
Thank you for being part of our journey. May God richly bless you in 2025.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Taj and Wati Pacleb
and the Revelation of Hope Team
PS: For the past 8 years, we’ve mailed out beautiful calendars featuring Bible promises paired with my nature images. Both the Bible and nature reveal God’s character of love, and combining them provides a powerful revelation of hope. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we weren’t able to produce the calendars this year. We hope to resume them next year, but in the meantime, please accept this special gift. As a token of our appreciation, we invite you to download 12 of my high-quality digital images, each paired with a Bible promise. These images are perfect for computer screensavers or personal reflection. Simply click the link below to access the files:
