Tad Worku’s debut album, love is all, is truly a labor of love. The album was created over a decade span which began with Worku being offered a fully funded international tour grant for his pop album. He had just written what would become the new title track, Love Is All, when he was told there was the stipulations in the grant that prohibited him from writing about religious themes. After wrestling with what to do, Worku returned the grant money and stepped away from music. Worku, whose Christian faith is paramount to his story, went back to school to become a nurse. By walking away from music, Worku began seeing it from a new perspective as an offering of hope for those in the most vulnerable situations. As an emergency trauma nurse, Worku worked with countless individuals at their lowest points and found that in some of the most dire circumstances, love still remained. These experiences would ultimately become Worku’s debut album, Love Is All.
